We have been working hard with Can Do Courses and OCN London to develop a new qualification aimed at people working within Learner Support. This qualification is made up of 11 modules.
The Role of the Learning Support Practitioner is the Mandatory unit, then the following unit can be chosen:
Supporting learners who have:
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Conditions
- Learning Disabilities
- Mental Ill Health
- Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities
- Partially Sighted or Blind
- Dyslexia
- Deaf/deaf
- Positive Behaviour Management in the Classroom
- Safeguarding Students
Mandatory plus 2 = An Award
Mandatory plus 4 = An Extended Award
Mandatory plus 6= A Certificate
